Guitars by Levinson, since 1977. A timeline...

Studying holography pictures to determine the vibrational patterns in acoustic guitars. This led to the development of the radial guitar bridge on Levinson Acoustics.

Archtop Firebird built in 1973. The body was solid flames maple with rosewood binding.

Slot head carved top custom build in 1978.

Fachblatt Guitar - Dieter Roesberg commissioned a guitar for Fachblatt Magazine. I built an archtop Tele style instrument with a set neck and Tunomatic bridge and HSH pickups. This instrument was used by Fachblatt as their reference instrument in test reports.

Custom built “Jugendstil” bass commissioned by a well known Swiss bass player. It had 27 difference pieces of wood in the body and neck and a Brazilian Rosewood top and back.

Guitars by Levinson when I opened the shop in a bedroom of my apartment on Burgfelderstrasse 189 in Basle together with my wife Romy.
